8.10.24 - French Oyster Platter Workshop AT EMBER

Join Tanja Cesh + Kristen & Joe Camp at Ember and celebrate summer by creating your own ceramic French Oyster Platter and enjoying fresh oysters and sipping Rosé.

At the workshop each participant will select oyster shells to create a modern version of the French oyster plate under the direction of Kristen & Joe Camp. We'll be working in a beautiful black clay body that we will form over the oysters creating a beautiful texture that will really showcase the gloss white glaze these will be finished in. All pieces will be fired over the next 4 weeks and available for pick up at Ember, or arrangements can be made to have your pieces shipped.

• Date: Saturday, August 10th - 3:00 to 5:00
• Price: $150 per person or $250 per couple (includes 4 oysters per person + all materials needed for making your own platter)
• Location: Ember | 5 South Street, Portland - ME
• Feel free to BYOB, we'll have a few bottles of Rosé to share

• 3:00pm-3:30pm: Welcome + platter making demonstration
• 3:30pm- 4:30pm: Pick oyster shells + platter making time
• 4:30pm-5:00pm: Oysters + Rosé
