6.1.24 - Flower Potluck Workshop AT EMBER

What is a flower potluck, you ask? This joy invoking concept is a twist on the classic gathering where instead of bringing your favorite to-share dish, each guest will bring a bucket of flowers in exchange to craft an arrangement. Join Tanja Cesh + Kristen & Joe Camp at Ember and celebrate the coming of Summer in the most beautiful way we know how!

Sourcing your flowers is just the start of the fun! Pick from your own personal garden, forage from a wild field, or shop the farmer’s market. Get creative and have fun with this! Our personal gardens are bursting at the seams and we will be bringing blossoms to share as well. Each guest will have the chance to pick out a hand crafted vase upon arrival and we will teach a short floral arranging lesson while guests enjoy drinks and small bites handmade by Joe Camp and inspired by summer blooms.

• Date: Saturday, June 1st 1:00 - 3:00pm
• Price: $150 per person or $250 per couple (includes a Campfire Pottery vase + floral themed, light fair & wine spritzers)
• Location: Ember | 5 South Street, Portland - ME
• Schedule of Events:
• 1:00 - 1:30 • Upon arrival, you’ll be served a spritzer to sip while you choose your vase, mingle, find your place at the table, and start choosing & sorting flowers
• 1:30 - 2:00 • Enjoy a short floral arranging demonstrating
• 2:00 - 3:00 • Craft your arrangement and enjoy small bites & sips
